You’d think South Florida would have enough punk bands to go around that Propaganda (6 S. J St., Lake Worth) wouldn’t have to import one for some time — but apparently when it comes to country punkabilly, this area falls a bit short. So, Propaganda reached out to the Minneapolis-based country punk rockers Pretty Boy Thorson and the Falling Angels, who’ve just changed their name to the Slow Death (they also have some new tracks in store). Two local punk bands will join the Slow Death on stage that night. First up will be the decade-old, local pop-punk foursome out of West Palm, the Ridicules, whose familiar jangly high-tempo sound has managed to stick around while a thousand local punk bands have come and gone. Routine Scheme, a four-piece from Palm Beach County that formed in 2005, will round out the night with their own style of mainstream punk. Call 561-547-7273, or visit propagandalw.com.
