Dutch DJ/producer Laidback Luke cut his teeth on the European house scene in the mid-'90s, and since then he's been one of the world's top DJs and currently holds the number 46 position in DJ Mag's Top 100 DJs list. Hearing him spin, it's easy to see why he's achieved such accolades. Whether it's producing straight-forward house or mixing it with electro and progressive beats, Laidback Luke doesn't allow himself to be confined by the rules of traditional house. These days, he's even remixing for the likes of the Black Eyed Peas, Junior Sanchez, David Guetta, and Tiësto.

So after recent stints at Mansion and Louis, Laidback Luke returns Wednesday to the Magic City, this time at the Fontainebleau's ultra-lux nightclub LIV (4441 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach). He'll be flanked by Dirty Hairy's resident DJs Ross One and Contra. Doors open at 10 p.m.; 21 and up only. General admission tickets are $20 via Wantickets.com. For table reservation or more information, call 305-674-4680 or visit livnightclub.com.
