That kind of self-indulgent denial will never, ever land you a spot in The First Annual Fort Lauderdale Cup. Christened with an “Old Hollywood” theme, this all-female, physique-focused showcase separates the truly chiseled from the merely malleable. Participants will polish and buff their skin boulders into glittery, sequined undergarments and compete for titles in two categories (NPC Bikini, and NPC Figure and Fitness) as well as a chance to advance to nationals. Who knows? Maybe viewing this competition will kickstart the next level of your meta workout: openly discussing joining a gym. Muscles go flex at 7 p.m. tonight at the Parker Playhouse (707 NE Eighth St., Fort Lauderdale). Tickets range $40 to $100. Call 954-462-0222, or visit ftlauderdalecup.com.
