Peace, Love, and Old People

If you look at the average age of your typical Crosby, Stills, and Nash fan, there is a high chance that they would qualify for AARP discounts. Not only has the group been together for more than 40 years, they are pretty much the last touring hippie band around. It should come as no surprise that they decided to make a tour stop in the geriatric paradise known as Florida. Spreading peace and love through harmonizing vocals and Southern-flavored folk, the trio is currently promoting a new CD called Demos, which contains precisely what you think it does ... demos. Young whippersnappers, don’t let the obvious age gap stop you from experiencing the love-in concert of the summer. It may be a great chance to get your parents off the couch, or your grandparents off the shuffleboard deck. If your elders don’t know how to find this new Hard Rock (1 Seminole Way in Hollywood), tell them the Hard Rock Live is right next to that casino where they lost your trust fund. Doors open at 7 p.m., and tickets start at $40. Visit
