By the end of your weekly hour-long yoga class, you feel like a lovely puddle of well-being. If that high lasts a few days, imagine how much longer you’ll be buzzing after today’s tantric-style, three hour yoga workshop with guest yogi Jordan Bloom.

Bloom specializes in Anusara, a newly hatched style of yoga (1997) that focuses on what’s good, special, and light within each of us and each other, as well as celebrating the limitations and strengths that make up our unique selves.

Bloom is known for staying true to that focus by presenting his sessions in a playful, uplifting manner. Getting you more in tune with your body is the goal of today’s workshop, and since flaws are celebrated, you don’t have to worry about whether or not you have three-hour yoga endurance. After all, if you occasionally wind up in Shavasana (corpse pose) while everyone else is fluttering away on handstands, that’s just you embracing your individual spirit — and scoring a nap to boot. Red Pearl Yoga Studio (918 NE 20th Ave., Fort Lauderdale) welcomes Jordan Bloom this evening from 6 to 9 p.m. Tickets cost $45 in advance (visit www.redpearlyoga.com), or $55 at the door. Call Karen for more information 954-828-1651.
