As a newspaper, on occasion we offer our opinion. At other times it is incumbent upon us to provide the reader with pure, unbiased information. We shall now attempt the latter. (Anyone with PETA sympathies or coulrophobia should look away.) In recent years, the circus has become controversial, but for anyone with fond childhood memories of soaring trapeze artists, majestic performing elephants, and gregarious clowns (we warned the coulrophobics), the circus is alive and well. Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus presents A Magical Holiday Circus Spectacular from Tuesday, December 28, through January 2 at the Palm Beach County Convention Center (650 Okeechobee Blvd., West Palm Beach). So, come one, come all, to the Greatest Show on Earth. Youll probably even get to see naked PETA protesters in body paint and isnt that what the circus was missing all along? The spectacle starts at 7 p.m. Tuesday. Tickets are available through ticketmaster.com for $18 to $50. Visit ringling.com for a full schedule, or call 561-366-3300 for more information.
