Come on, folks -- think! Think before you spend your entire paycheck on clothing for the kids! The City of Plantation -- along with a very thrifty woman named Juliana Ruiz -- will bring you a trendy consignment shopping experience that guarantees to save you cash or get more for your buck. Have you been doing this the past three years? Lolliposh is a seasonal, award-winning event for consignors to sell new or gently used children's items and for parents to snatch items discounted as much as 90 percent. But -- bah! -- early consignment shoppers get the best worms: New and expectant moms, consignors, and presale pass holders will get access to private presales the day before. The event's being held on Friday from 9:30 am to 8:30 p.m. and on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Levin Gymnasium at the Soref Jewish Community Center (6501 W. Sunrise Blvd., Plantation). Visit lolliposh.com.
Fri., Nov. 18, 9:30 a.m.; Sat., Nov. 19, 9 a.m., 2011
