Quick Path to Enlightenment

"Tantrism," as it's understood today, is a kind of yogic pantheism drawing from the evolution of Buddhism, Hinduism, and even Indian Islam influences. (As with all scriptures, their actual profundity is debatable.) According to the media materials for the Preciousness of Tantra classes at the Drolma Buddhist Meditation Center, Tantra constitutes a "quick path to enlightenment," which is a relief. Who has time for the long path to enlightenment? The Drolma's offering three classes every Thursday for three weeks respectively titled "An Inner Transformation," "Imagine Complete Purity," and "Channels, Drops, and Winds." All classes shall be taught by Buddhist monk Gen Kelsang Norbu. The Drolma Buddhist Meditation Center is located at 140 W. Prospect Road, Oakland Park. The classes may be purchased in bulk for $23 or may be paid for individually at a cost of $10 each. The classes run from 7:30 to 9 p.m., after which vegetarian food will be provided.
