Leave the bacon-wrapped hot dogs and bad attitude at home tonight, lest you harsh the mellow that’s sure to be flowing at the Vegetarian Potluck Dinner and Love Panel Discussion at 6 p.m. at the Drolma Kadampa Buddhist Center. Guests are invited to bring a favorite vegetarian dish — hummus, eggplant roll-ups, lentil salad, etc. — to share with others during a communal meal. After the cruelty-free dinner, there will be a panel discussion on the topic of love and how it differs from the concept of attachment. Got a question related to the issue? Write it down on a slip of paper before the discussion and a diverse panel of experts will address the audience inquiries in an interactive format. Keep it clean, though; this is no Savage Love forum. The Drolma Kadampa Buddhist Center is located at 140 W. Prospect Road, Oakland Park. Admission is $5. Call 954-537-9191, or visit meditationinfortlauderdale.info.
