Celebrate your four-legged BFF or adopt a new one Sunday at the Boca Festival Days "Paw-ty Time" event in the Shoppes at Village Pointe in Boca Raton. During Boca Festival Days, Boca Raton's Chamber of Commerce members team up with local nonprofit agencies to help raise money and bring awareness to the agencies. From 4 to 7 p.m., this free, pet-friendly event will feature live bands, bounce houses, art from local artists, food, and a variety of games and contests, including a happy dog contest for dogs that love being the center of attention. A raffle will be held to win a Caribbean Cruise and several other baskets and prizes donated by local vendors. Proceeds from the event will benefit Boca Raton's Tri-County Humane Society, a no-kill, not-for-profit shelter. Shelter workers will bring a few of their furry friends who are looking for a safe new home; a $25 discount will be applied to the adoption fee.
