Whether you're a marching-band fanatic (yes, those exist) or simply have a love for good music, getting out with your family to watch a concert is always a great way to relax, spend quality time, or pretend you are cultured enough to enjoy live shows. Either way, Florida Atlantic University's department of music in the Dorothy F. Schmidt College of Arts and Letters is presenting its fourth-annual Band-O-Rama concert. It will include a variety of music from the Wind Ensemble, Jazz Band, and FAU Marching Owls. The show will be at Kaye Auditorium in the Student Union on the Boca Raton campus, located at 777 Glades Road. The performance is on Wednesday at 7 p.m. Although the show is technically free, musical instruments don't grow on trees, so there is a suggested donation of $10 at the door. Call 561-297-3854, or visit fau.edu/music/.
