Small Business Saturday may have come and gone, but that's still no reason to shop at the big box stores selling a bunch of foreign-made crap. You can stick with the rest of the little guys while eating and drinking in the process. Let's be honest -- when was the last time Walmart served you wine and cheese while you perused the home goods section? We're going to say never. This Friday, starting at 6 p.m., Lake Worth's Clay Glass Metal Stone Cooperative -- a nonprofit cooperative of 30 local artists -- is showing off its wares with the "Out of the Box" Handmade Gift Sale. Wine, cheese, and the artists' specialties will be served in the gallery, while local restaurants and bistros will serve distinctive cocktails. Gift-wrapping will be available for anyone who purchases a gift. All concierges who show up will receive a locally made gift.
