Kids shouldn’t ever have to cope with serious illness, but in this unfair world in which we live, it’s a harsh reality. Fortunately, charitable organizations like Starlight Children’s Foundation are willing to step up to the plate and provide programs for ailing children and their families, with everything from health education to enabling memory-making family time. Pitch in to help the organization at this week’s Fusion Fashion fundraising to-do. The event is anchored by a fashion presentation and pop-up boutiques, and all proceeds from the evening benefit the Starlight Children’s Foundation Florida (that means local kids). Food and libations will be provided, as will music and a live auction. Fusion Fashion is 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday. It will be hosted at the Allied Kitchen and Bath showroom, located at 616 W.
