In terms of fashion, the ’80s were kind of, like, the best decade ever. We don’t care what anyone says; leg warmers, frizzy side ponytails, and those little circular plastic things used to scrunch up the sides of T-shirts are still hot. The only way to make it even hotter: Add burlesque. Oh. Wait. That’s happening this Saturday at Back to the ’80s Burlesque. Cupcake Burlesque will be doing the ’80s this Saturday at Respectable Street starting at 9 p.m. Eight sexy ladies will perform, and guest MC Vita DeVoid will be part of the evening’s action. To add to the excitement, all attending guests donning ’80s garb get a free drink — all the more reason to pull out those neon scrunch socks. Tickets cost $7.
