Stumbling Around Town

It’s no secret: South Floridians like to drink. A lot. And fortunately, many of our prime drinking areas are perfectly set up for walking. Or crawling. The main problem is pulling yourself away from that first bar. If you’re looking to bar-hop, Fort Lauderdale Bar Crawl is here to help. Back for a second installment, Fort Lauderdale Bar Crawl offers drinkers an organized party. With the purchase of a wristband, participants get to consume eight beverages in eight bars in downtown Fort Lauderdale. The crawl includes Capone’s, Lucky’s Tavern, the Dubliner, T-Mex, Tarpon Bend, the Office, Off the Hookah, and America’s Backyard. An afterparty at Off the Hookah will feature a raffle for a 50-inch TV set. Tickets cost $20 in advance or $25 the day of the event. Check-in begins at 6:30 p.m. this Saturday at Lucky’s Tavern, located at 214 SW Second St. in downtown Fort Lauderdale. Visit fortlauderdalebarcrawl.com.
