The state of Florida conjures many images: pristine beaches, bright-blue skies, beautiful sunsets, wasted spring breakers, shirtless rednecks at the Daytona 500. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so you can only imagine the illustrations that would depict the antics of Florida and its many visitors. Well, here’s your chance to see them frozen in time at Foto Fort Lauderdale at the Museum of Art|Fort Lauderdale. Currently, Foto Fort Lauderdale is featuring “Constantine Manos: Florida Color,” a collection of photographs depicting everyday life and public events in the great state most of us call home. Think everything from natural flora and fauna to bumpin’ and grindin’ spring breakers to beer-guzzling NASCAR enthusiasts. The exhibition is on display during museum hours: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday; 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday; and noon to 5 p.m. Sundays. Admission is $14.
