If pairing dinners featuring the best in local beers just happens to be your thing, look no further than Delray Beach. This Tuesday, 50 Ocean -- the waterfront restaurant above Boston's on the Beach -- will host a special pairing dinner known as "Bites and Brews" as part of its monthly, themed dinner series. The special, six-course tasting menu will feature select craft beers from local Delray Beach brewer SaltWater Brewery. The food, prepared by 50 Ocean executive chef Blake Malatesta, will be a taste tour you won't soon forget. It starts with a welcome appetizer, followed by an indulgent array of dishes. Guests will have the opportunity to sample entrées that include Florida wahoo crudo, buttermilk-fried frog legs, roasted duck, and suckling pig ballotine with all the trimmings. Enjoy it all from the backlit quartz bar with panoramic ocean views, surrounded by Florida decor from both past and present. The "Bites and Brews" event will take place from 6:30 to 9 p.m. The cost is $69 per person, plus tax and gratuity. The restaurant offers complimentary valet parking. Seating for this event is limited. For reservations, visit 50ocean.com or call 561-278-3364.
