When you've exhausted all of the episodes of "No Reservations" available on streaming Netflix and you're on to re-reading back issues of "Every Day With Rachael Ray" it's a sign that you need to leave the house and fulfill your foodie obsession out and about with living, breathing humans. Don't want to wait for the weekend? Here are five food events happening this week in Palm Beach and Broward Counties.

Tonight:

Spin the bottle without kissing may sound deadly dull, but what if you were to factor in wine? The Spin the Wine Event from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at The Living Room in Boynton Beach is a smooch-free twist on the junior high make-out game. Open to singles and non-singles alike, a $15 cash entry lets you play the game and compete for prizes like glasses of wine, appetizers and other goodies. Food and drink specials also available. Single and looking to mingle? The Living Room will also host a singles-only event from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday.

Tuesday:

Coronas at Chili's this ain't. Florida beer-maker Cigar City Brewing will bring its entire draft selection to Laser Wolf for all the lupine inclined brew fans out there in Broward County. From 5 p.m. on, Cigar City will take over all of the Fort Lauderdale bar's taps, serving Jai Alai IPA, Maduro Brown and seven other specialty brews. Open to those who are 21 and older; d-bags need not apply.

Wednesday:

Resistance to the food truck movement is futile. Give in at the Cypress Creek food truck round-up from 5 to 9:30 p.m. at the corner of Cypress Creek and Powerline in Fort Lauderdale. 4 Alarm Pizza, B.C. Tacos, Bru's Room, Crepe Outdoors, Dog Eat Dog and Miso Hungry are slated to appear, though like the weather, that lineup is subject to change. Parking is free, but bring cash for the trucks.

Thursday:

Sip some beers and make a few business connections at the business networking/beer tasting event from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the new English Tap & Beer Garden in Boca Raton. Pay $20 cash at the door and sample four different beers, plus appetizers. Call 561-637-4441 for more details. Stick around after the networking and enjoy a free appetizer or dessert with din-din.

Friday:

The Glenfiddich tasting event at Morton's, The Steakhouse in Fort Lauderdale is best reserved for those who can handle a good sip -- or several more -- of damned good scotch. Those who feel up to the task will have to pony up $45 plus tax and tip for the tasting event from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Call 954-467-9720 for reservations or book online at eventbrite.com. Signature snacks also will be included.
