Looks like you aren't the only one with a resolution for 2011. Turns out Kahlúa has one too.

The goal: motivate Americans to spend one night at home each month to spend time reconnecting with friends and family, colleagues, significant others, or other couples over a drink and some conversation.

Kahlúa calls it the "Delicioso Night In," inspired by a survey that found that 76 percent of Americans say home is a better place for great conversation when compared to going out to a restaurant or lounge.

It's a discussion that really hits home, apparently -- especially for celebrity chef and TV personality Aarón Sánchez. He likes the idea so much that he has partnered with Kahlúa to prepare the ultimate "Delicioso Night In."

From now through March 27, consumers can log on to the event website or visit facebook.com/kahlua to join and commit one night per month in 2011 to a "Delicioso Night In."

Those who join are automatically entered into a sweepstakes for a chance to win the ultimate "Night In" for them and three of their favorite people. The group will enjoy transportation to New York City, a one-night stay in a luxury hotel, and a personalized "Delicioso Night In" dining experience hosted by Sánchez.

Immediately following the stay, the four will be whisked away to Veracruz, Mexico -- the birthplace of Kahlúa -- for four days of adventure to experience a culture rich in blended traditions.

But even if you don't get the chance to have Sánchez cook for you, there are still many ways to enjoy a night in, he says. Especially when you invite friends over to help cook dinner.

Sánchez suggests the following Mexican-inspired entertaining tips to help connect groups of friends during a "Delicioso Night In."

• Create memorable aromatics for your next evening of entertaining at home. Let robust spices (think cloves, canela, cinnamon, cardamom, and black pepper) help set the mood with the help of a standard frying pan. Toast the spices to their smoking point and the room will fill with an inviting bouquet.

• Pairings are a great way to turn any meal into a special occasion. Plan three or four courses, and pair each with a cocktail. Use one base spirit for each dish, like beer or wine. Mix it up, or keep it the same.

• Looking for an intimate night at home? Feeding someone can be a playful proposition. Reconnect over a selection of small bites, like fresh-cut fruits and cheeses -- and, of course, pair with your favorite drink.

KAHLÚA ESPRESSO MARTINI RECIPE

Legend has it that the Kahlúa Espresso Martini was created for a supermodel by a London cocktail guru in the '80s. The mixologist had the brilliant idea of combining a shot of espresso and vodka with the coffee and cane spirit to create a martini like no other. Perfect postdinner with friends.

Ingredients
1.5 parts Kahlúa
Ice
1 part Absolut vodka
1 fresh brewed espresso

How to mix it: Fill a shaker with ice, add Kahlúa, Absolut vodka, and a fresh brewed espresso. Shake vigorously, and strain into a chilled martini glass.
