The first order of business for the week should be to secure reservations for Father's Day if your plans include treating Dad to a special meal that you don't have to prepare. Tuesday:

SAIA at Sunset -- SAIA in Fort Lauderdale will offer a six-course dinner with a menu from chef Subin Chenkorsorn where each course is paired with a different sake. Seats are $54 per person or $99 per couple. The dinner is at 7 p.m. Reserve a spot by calling 954-302-5252, or online at opentable.com/saia

Tuesday & Wednesday:

Wine dinner/chef showdown at Vic & Angelo's -- The kitchen staff from Vic & Angelo's and The Office will face off in two wine dinners held at the Vic & Angelo's restaurants in Palm Beach Gardens (Tuesday) and Delray Beach (Wednesday). Find details about the events here.  

Wednesday:

Gourmet Truck Expo gathering in West Palm Beach -- Gourmet Truck Expo will host a food truck rally from 6 to 9:30 p.m. at Village Commons in West Palm Beach to benefit the Project Ship Foundation. Some of the trucks scheduled to appear include Dolce Gourmet Cupcakes, Out of Many Cafe, and The Philly Grill. Village Commons is located at 701-971 Village Blvd., West Palm Beach. 

Thursday:

Due South Brewery Night at Puccini's Pizzeria -- Due South Brewing Co. is the star of a beer event from 7 to 10 p.m. at Puccini's Pizzeria in Delray Beach. Six beers will be on tap including Category 3 IPA and Roasted Cocoa Stout. Beer flights are $10 and include four, five-ounce tastes. Free pizza and dessert pairings. 

Italian wine dinner -- Michele's Dining Lounge in Fort Lauderdale will host an Italian wine dinner at 7 p.m. with four courses and four wines at a cost of $49.95 per person. Reservations highly recommended; 954-533-1919. 

Saturday:

Craft Beer Festival and Burger Bash -- Mark Father's Day a little early with burgers and beer at this first-time festival from noon to 4 p.m. at the PGA National Resort & Spa in Palm Beach Gardens. There will be a home brew seminar, burger contests, live music, food sampling, and local chefs competing for best burger. The cost is $35 in advance or $40 at the door. 

Palm Beach Chili Cook Off -- The inaugural Palm Beach Chili Cook Off is 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Meyer Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach. Pre-sale tickets are $10 to $15 and available online
