I really wanted to attend the last Himmarshee Bar & Grill wine/beer pairing featuring Belgian brews in June. But these events are selling out fast, and I'm always late to the party. So for all you procrastinators out there, here's an early scoop on Himmarshee's Cline Cellars wine dinner, taking place July 26 at 6:30 p.m.
The four-course pairing will feature wines from Sonoma's Cline Cellars, a 28-year-old vineyard known for fine Zinfandels. Meanwhile, Whole Foods Market Fort Lauderdale's wine buyer, Adriaan Dimeo, will be giving a course-by-course explanation of the glasses along with tasting notes. The cost is $45 per person and includes tax and tip. So now, like me, you've got no excuse for booking late. Reserve by calling 954-524-1818.
