If you're like us, you love cheese. From high-brow, cave-aged Gouda to low-brow string cheese, our motto is "If you put cheese on that shoe over there, we're going to eat it."
That's why we're intrigued by East End Brasserie's five-course Chef's Table dinner hosted by executive chef Steve Zobel on Tuesday, May 16, at 6:30 p.m. The menu will showcase cheese from France and Italy with wine pairings.
Zobel will be on hand during the entire evening to guide attendees through the dinner. As always, he won't finalize the menu until the actual night of the dinner, choosing to select the freshest ingredients that will work with the cheese he has planned, but menu items to look out for include an heirloom tomato soup served with grilled Camembert, grilled rib eye with Roquefort cheese butter, and Gorgonzola crostini with poached pears.
Luca Turiello of Palm Bay International Fine Wines & Spirits will be
on hand to provide tips on the wines provided with the wine pairings.
The
special chefs table dinner is limited to 16 guests and is $50 for
the tasting menu, $75 with wine pairings. Valet parking is included.
