•    Say goodbye to West Palm's Raw Kitchen, the cozy raw-vegan-organic eatery on the west end of Clematis Street that sisters Gigi and Iris Garcia and chef Brenda Kunkler opened only late last year. Despite the hype that raw-vegan fare will be the Next Big Thing, of the three such restaurants that once mined that territory (Soma came and went with the speed of light), only Darbster remains.

•    Palm Beachers jonesing for upscale Italian grub will have to wait for their fix at Café Milano, the swanky eatery that took over the South County Road spot that for 16 years was occupied by local fave Amici's. A sign on the door says the restaurant is closed for the summer and will reopen on Oct. 1. On the other hand, a call to Milano's number gets a "No messages are waiting, please try again later" recording, and the restaurant's website has been taken down.
