Got 100 people coming for a holiday shindig? Stupidest idea you EVER had, right? Believe it, we've been there. But four of Palm Beach's top chefs are taking pity this season and throwing a bash at Cafe Boulud that might help prevent us from totally screwing up our next cocktail party if we listen carefully, pay attention, and follow instructions.
If you're sick of rolling hundreds of little piggies into blankets or can't stand the thought of one more vat of onion dip, CULTURE & COCKTAILS at Cafe Boulud may offer a solution: "Party Party -- Sharing the Tastes, Tests & Treats of Holiday Entertaining." The event takes place on December 8 from 5 to 7 p.m at the Brazilian Court. Participating star chefs and their sommeliers include:

Each chef will prepare two hors d'oeuvres and a wine pairing, and consult with guests about the how-to, patiently answering panicked questions about cocktails, serving temperatures, and pairings, while you nosh on Boulud's wine and snacks.
If these experts can't help you, you truly are hopeless. But that's OK, because your $35 ticket price will go to the Palm Beach Cultural Council, so you'll have spread some joy and light around the universe anyway.
