Spin the bottle brings back preteen memories in a suburban basement when Cara DeBoest's parents weren't around. The Rustic Cellar has upgraded the setting considerably.

This Thursday, the cozy Cellar will host Spin the Wine, a collision of spin the bottle and a regular tasting. Management has put the kibosh on kissin'... but issued no prohibition against removing articles of clothing.

Alas, things probably won't get that out of hand. Despite the Cellar's cautioning that "anything could happen!" it's still Boca. The most that'll come loose is an expensive earring.

Couples and singles are welcome; $16 (in advance) allows you four spins and a chance to win more glasses of vino plus apps. If you show up at the party, it's $20.

Wine list after the break:

Foxen Chenin Blanc 2009, Santa Maria Valley

Rudera Cabernet 2008, South Africa
Springfield Chardonnay "Wild Yeast" 2008 South Africa
Collazzi "Super Tuscan" 2005, Italy
Trig Point Cabernet 2007, Alexander Valley
Angela "Clawson Creek Vineyard" Pinot Noir 08, Oregon
LaMadrid Grand Reserva Malbec 2005, Mendoza
Zind Humbrecht Pinot Gris 2009, Alsace
