There's word that former Alaska governor Sarah Palin -- known in the foodie world for her moose stew recipe and love of fresh-caught (and we do mean "caught") organic fare -- will be penning her own fitness and food-related book.

According to People magazine online, Palin called the project a "unique and motivating book...on fitness and self-discipline," and made mention of her family's love of "homemade comfort foods."

While there's no word on whether or not a deal to publish the book is in the works, we can't help but wonder what she's planning on cooking up. No hint at a title, but Palin made one promise in her quote from People: "What...we do works and allows a fulfilling quality of life and sustenance anyone can enjoy."

We just hope she'll include some tips on how to skin a fresh kill, or maybe a "how-to" for deboning wild-caught Alaskan salmon....

Just in case Palin is in a creative rut, here's a few ideas for a future title:

Suggested Title No. 3: Wilderness-to-Table: Go Hunting and Eat Organic

Forget farm-to-table -- how about the Wild Alaskan wilderness? Although there's some footage out there that suggests otherwise (specifically of Palin attempting to shoot a caribou and missing not once, but several times), the ex guv has been quoted many, many times in reference to her love of shooting and catching wild, edible animals. Sort of like that one time -- in Reno, Nevada last year -- when she addressed the Annual Club Safari International Hunter's Convention, and told its members she eats, "organic -- we just have to shoot it first. And it comes wrapped in fur, not cellophane."

In that vein of thought, we think this is one possible title that could work...

Possible Title No. 2: The Palin-eo Diet: How to Gum Up Your Veins

The Paleo diet -- also referred to as the "caveman diet" -- is a modern nutritional plan that follows the idea of eating similarly to what our early ancestors would have been eating during the Paleolithic era about 2.5 million years ago. Mostly a diet of wild plants, roots, fungi and animals, the Paleo diet has -- much like Palin's own personal beliefs on the modern American diet -- been a controversial idea since it was first introduced in the 1970s. Which is why we think Palin can seize the opportunity to coin her own diet-fad name: the Palineo diet.

In the past, Palin received quite a bit of press concerning her outspoken objections to First Lady Michelle Obama's "Let's Live" campaign against childhood obesity; she argues Americans have "God-given rights" to make their own dietary choices, and be fat. Take this Palin quote from a 2010 radio interview with Laura Ingraham:

"What [Michelle Obama] is telling us is she cannot trust parents to make decisions for their own children, for their own families in what we should eat . . . instead of a government thinking that they need to take over and make decisions for us according to some politician or politician's wife priorities, just leave us alone, get off our back and allow us as individuals to exercise our own God-given rights to make our own decisions."

If that's the case, let's be clear she won't be "telling" anyone how to care for themselves. She'll just be suggesting...

Possible Title No. 1: Our Fitness, Our Food: The Palins Are Smarter Than You

Have you had the chance to read Chuck Heath Sr. and Jr.s' book about their daughter and sister, Sarah Palin, in Our Sarah

No? Oh, well let us give you a brief introduction: it's a fantastic read about what it's like -- well -- being Sarah Palin's dad and brother. Read about it online and you'll find it includes touching "family stories of life in the last frontier -- from hiking, camping, fishing, hunting and gold-mining, to marathon running, teaching and community service -- first in small ways and then on a national stage."

We think it only natural to assume that Palin's own book will be equally biased about how great it is living the Palin way.

Of course, these are a few of our suggestions, but we'd also love to hear yours. Please share your ideas in the comments section below. Who knows: maybe she'll even consider using one of them!
