Taking place in a high school, the video has all the come-ons of a pop song -- and then some. Sample lyric: "You write about earthlings going to Mars, and I write about blowing you in my car." English majors in the house!

The prudish folks not staring at all of the Catholic schoolgirls frolicking in sci-fi synchrony might say that what's underneath is a simple yet brilliant commentary on the type of intellectual malaise that's making Facebook status updates the literature of the day. What is sexier than a 60-year-old story predicting the level of automation we enjoy in today's society featuring a children's playroom that can replicate reality so well, some African lions might devour their parents? After rereading it this morning -- nothing. Not sure what Bradbury's stance on YouTube is, but he's probably chuckling about the Kurt Vonnegut fan who gets wholly dissed here. [via The Underwire]
