Southeast Beast Tour to Storm the Talent Farm

Florida is an unstable place: The populace is largely transient, the weather is unpredictable, and the very soil we walk on is shifting and eroding in a state of perpetuity.

However, we do have a few steadfast constants we can rely on amid the ebb and flow of humans and dirt. For example, one will find topnotch authentic Cuban cuisine throughout the tricounty area, and you can always count on an awe-inspiring sunset.

Also, Florida invented death metal and thus will always be a bastion of various varieties of extreme metal. Just check out this lineup for the Southeast Beast Tour, which comes to the Talent Farm on November 15.

Featuring three touring acts -- Florida-bred bands And the Kingdom Fell and Dealey Plaza and North Carolina act Impale the Betrayer -- the show is rounded out by (count 'em) five other extreme metal bands to rattle your guts as you bang your head. Miami will be represented by Origin of Disease and Asylum Del Mar, and the entire night will no doubt quake the swamps surrounding the Talent Farm.

With And The Kingdom Fell, Dealey Plaza, Impale the Betrayer, Origin of Disease, and others. 6 p.m. Friday, November 15, at The Talent Farm, 20911 Johnson St, Pembroke Pines. $12 at the door. Call 954-438-3488, or visit
