The only thing sweeter than a guava is a Big Guava Music Festival.
Though you might not be able to cram the massive Tampa event into a pastelito, you can now pencil in the concert's 2015 dates.
Going down Friday, May 8, and Saturday, May 9, the Big Guava will once again land at the Midflorida Credit Union Amphitheatre and the Florida State Fairgrounds.

Tickets are not yet available; however, 2014's general-admission pass for the three-day event, which is now two days, was $165 for GA and $499 for VIP. Although the lineup has yet to be announced, the news release does promise two full days of music along with "thrill rides, craft beers, food trucks, and art."
Details may still be in the works, but one thing's for sure -- this year's performers give next year's potential roster a lot to live up to.
The inaugural fest featured 45 acts, including reunions of legends like Outkast and the Violent Femmes, cult favorites like Sleigh Bells, rising stars Earl Sweatshirt and Chance the Rapper, and bands at the top of their game like Vampire Weekend.
If 2015's jam can match those eclectic sets, you might as well start saving up your money and plan to extend your Cinco de Mayo celebrations a few extra days.
