The Halloween Street Scene & Soul Parade in Lake Worth has added Surfer Blood as a headliner. The four-stage event takes place along Lake Avenue between Dixie Highway and Federal Highway in the city's downtown area on Saturday, October 30 (more events are on October 29 as well).
Just in case any people who might be staring at a calendar and going "Wait, isn't there going to be at least one Surfer Blood side project performing at West Palm Beach's Moonfest the same night?" These dudes are currently making their way around the CMJ Music Marathon in New York, so two performances in one night is cake! That, and County Grind confirmed with organizers that the Street Scene will wrap up in time. There are noise ordinances to abide by, after all.
The rest of the musical acts on the bill include B-Liminal, the
Resolvers, the Spam All-Stars, the Jacob Jeffries Band, the People
Upstairs, Franscene, Ladies & Gentlemen, Roots Shakedown, Shawna
Sweeney, Illumination, and Ric Pattison.
