Dressing up not your thing? Let the lovely Cupcakes burlesque troupe talk dirty and nerdy to you. But getting in costume is only part of the fun, so make sure to do it and definitely go for the win in the costume contest. There are prizes. Who says being geeky in high school didn't pay off? Not us.
4. Circle presents Return to Salem

If you were a huge fan of American Horror Story: Coven, then this event was practically made for you. Circle, Fetish Factory's series of alternative events, has a witchy theme this week at the American Rock Bar and Grill. Think of it as preparation for Halloween, complete with music, drink specials, and tons of Salem themed hotties -- of every gender imaginable.
There will be live music by the Black Bats and the Circle Serpents and Alex Dalliance on the turntables. The Facebook event states, attendees will "dance around the fire and destroy every psychic vampire that ever doubted us." Freaky, but we dig.
3. BBAD Art Walk

After much drama with the city, BBAD is back and b-badder than ever. They've got food trucks, live art, an open mic, all happening on the streets of Boynton Beach tonight.
It's $5 if you're brave enough for open mic, and free admission to laugh at your friends onstage. However, you may want to stay on their nice side if you want a drink or something -- winner wins $100 and a chance to perform at Activistartista's Kerowacked Festival next year. Can't make it this Thursday? There's always next month. The art walk is steady, happening every fourth Thursday monthly, so you have time to prep for your big entrance.
2. Comedy Night

Skip that ab workout this week. Your muscles will get plenty of exercise when you laugh your way to a hard body at comedy night this Sunday at the Brewhouse Gallery. Presented by Laugh It Off Entertainment, this new event features five comedians with one headliner to finish the night. Feeling extra cheap? Bring your own food to snack on, because hey, it's allowed. Hosted by Daniel Ryan and La Hardy, this is the perfect night to end your weekend before the drudgery of the next work week.

Want to do something fun and feel good about it? Whole Foods Market in Boca Raton will be hosting an indie craft night with funds going to the Whole Kids Foundation, a nonprofit organization that strives to increase nutritional eating among kids. In addition to feel-good vibes, there will be 20 arts and crafts vendors, live art, music, food trucks, and, of course, beer. Since the event is free, donate what you would pay for cover at some other events on this list. Five bucks ain't gonna kill you, son.
