Injured Eddie Vedder Postpones Tour, Including Broward Center Shows

Eddie Vedder has announced that he is unfortunately going to have to postpone upcoming solo tour due to injury. The Pearl Jam frontman has temporary nerve damage in his right arm resulting from a back injury that occurred earlier this year.

The Broward Center shows were scheduled for May 13 and 14, but will now be pushed back to Nov 30 and Dec 1.

In a press release, manager Kelly Curtis explains, "After having worked aggressively with doctors and physical therapists for the last eight weeks to repair the damage, the intensity of the injury and time needed to heal has made it impossible to play the shows as scheduled. There was hope up until the last minute that the treatments would be successful.  Sincerest apologies go out to those who have made plans and bought tickets.  Eddie is frustrated beyond measure, but remains positive that come this summer all will be back in good form."

All shows have been pushed back to November and December. Tickets will be honored for rescheduled dates. Refunds are available at place of purchase.

Instead of getting a refund, how about reading up on the five best reasons to see him perform and remember why you bought those tickets in the first place.
