I know for a fact that most of you, dear readers, like to have fun. Usually in a musical and beer-drenched setting, Hell, I like it too. I was born and raised in Venezuela and if there's one thing you won't read in the dailies, is how much fun Venezuelans like to have.... I mean, aside from International beauty pageants, petroleum and whatever that fuckface monkey Chávez is up to.

Nah, we Venezuelans love our ice-cold Polar beers, dancing, and music. Desorden Público has been without a doubt, one of Latin America's finest ska/punk/reggae outfits and they are celebrating 25 years of having a good time and not letting politics interfere with their shit! On a related note, local outfit Social Klash has been making some waves here and there with their infectious New Wave-tinged rock racket and are calling on their locals to help them pony up on the stage with DP.

Worthy cause? You bet! And since all of you have Facebook accounts (I know, apparently I am your "friend" on it) make some clicks and vote for these pretty boys to share in the fun. Dance, drink, get laid ... somewhat cheaper than gas, and as close as you'll come to a Venezuelan Miss Universe.

After the jump, get the official show info and check out videos from both Social Klash and Desorden Publico.

Desorden Publico. Saturday, January 30. La Covacha, 10730 NW 25th St., Miami. Doors open at 8 p.m., tickets cost $30 in advance from Groovetickets. (They're also available at the venue, and at locations of Los Perros!) Ages 18 and up with ID.
