The event, which is being held March 27 and 28 at Bicentennial Park, already has early bird two-day passes on sale for $99.95 and VIP passes for $350. The tickets went on sale last Saturday and will only be available for a limited time. But be forewarned, the prices don't include taxes and surcharges, which some people are already complaining about, but after the almost 50 percent markup we saw for our $27 ticket for M.I.A. at Studio A last year, we really aren't surprised. Ticketmaster has been running this kind of scam for years.

But before some of us commit ourselves to that kind of purchase, we would like to know who is actually attending. We are pretty sure the grandfathers of electronic music (i.e.: Carl Cox, Paul Van Dyk, Paul Oakenfold, Tiesto, etc.) will all be making appearances because they do so almost every year, but one band who is pretty much confirmed for a Day 1 appearance at the festival is British-band Bloc Party, whose attendance has already been noted by Pollstar.com. In addition, according to Consequence of Sound, Cut Copy and Matt & Kim are confirmed as well. However, if the information is correct, they'll be making an ill-suited Day 2 appearance, instead of playing the more dance-rock friendly Day 1.
