After allegedly burglarizing at least 26 Pompano Beach businesses in the last two weeks, Broward Sheriff's Office deputies finally caught James Fraulo.

According to the BSO, Fraulo, 41, has committed at least 26 burglaries since May 27 to help support his crack habit.

His typical loot: Cash, cigarettes, and lottery tickets.

Fraulo was caught because a sheriff's deputy noticed him riding a bike -- covered in blood -- down a Pompano Beach street, police say.

Apparently Fraulo had just cut himself while burglarizing another store, and was identified as the "prolific burglar" the BSO has been looking for.

Police say in most burglaries, Fraulo would use a screwdriver to pop out windows of the businesses, then crawl inside and grab his stash.

Fraulo was just released from prison in April for -- you guessed it -- burglary and cocaine possession.

He's currently facing 55 charges, including burglary, criminal mischief, grant theft, and petty theft.
