Okay, that's overstating things a bit, since he had nothing to do with the Corzine's car crash, but then so is everything about this story. I did hear a TV report where they called Corzine, who is seriously banged up, another "casualty" of Imus. Ridiculous. The media overkill will ironically make sure Imus lands more softly than a lot of people might think. It'll even out.
I talked about it on Barry Epstein's radio show today on WWNN and he started throwing out poll numbers showing that 60 percent of the people didn't think Imus should have been fired and 75 percent believed the media attention was excessive.
