Two bodies were discovered this morning -- seemingly unrelated -- one at a Lauderhill house, the other washed up on the shore in Fort Lauderdale.

In Lauderhill, a man went to his 19-year-old nephew's house around 7 a.m. on the 7000 block of Sienna Ridge Lane to find the teenager dead, according to the Miami Herald.

Lauderhill police say the teenager died of a gunshot wound, although it's not yet clear whether he shot himself or was shot by someone else.

Police told the Herald the teenagers mother was upstairs asleep when the police arrived, and told the cops she never heard anything.

Back in Fort Lauderdale, a male, clothed body washed up on the shore this morning.

According to the Sun-Sentinel, the beachfront is cordoned off south of Vista Park, near the 2800 block of North Atlantic Boulevard.

It is yet unknown who discovered the body, and no other information is yet available from the cops.
