Marco Rubio appeared on one of the Sunday political talk shows on, uh, Sunday (THERE ARE TOO MANY OF THEM!) and slammed, ripped, dunked on, smacked down, put a hurtin' to, Jay-Z and his recent decision to not only visit Cuba, but to also be unapologetic about it in a horrible song.
And here's the thing:
We actually agree with Marco Rubio!

Talking about the rapper/former Nets owner/kind of sort of sports agent now/mogul and his wife's vacation to Havana, Rubio said, "I think Jay-Z needs to get informed."
SICK BURN, BRO.
Rubes continued: "One of his heroes is Che Guevara. Che Guevara was a racist. Che Guevara was a racist that wrote extensively about the superiority of white Europeans over people of African descent, so he should inform himself on the guy that he's propping up."
Aside from trying to use the proper term for "giving props," and aside from dripping in hypocrisy when it comes to "propping up" racists in context to his OWN FUCKING PARTY, Marcito Rubio nails it.
As we pointed out here last week, Jay-Z's photo with a Che Guevara t-shirt was the beginning of the end of hoping he had some kind of clue into the reality of Cuban history and the atrocities of the Castro regime, and the reason why it's just not cool to go and spend your money over there right now.
Rubio went further with his point:
"I think if Jay-Z was truly interested in the true state of affairs in Cuba, he would have met people that are being oppressed," he said. "Including a hip-hop artist in Cuba who is right now being oppressed and persecuted and is undergoing a hunger strike because of his political lyrics. And I think he missed an opportunity. But that's Jay-Z's issue."
Yo, thass Jay-Z's problem, m'dude.
Rubio then went on about how big government that shouldn't butt into people's lives should totally butt into people's lives and make it near impossible to travel to Cuba if they decide to do so. But, whatever.
The bigger point here is that Jay-Z is a talented dude with a super hot wife who happens to be kind of a moron (Jay-Z. Not his super hot wife), and Rubio called him on it.
Good on you, guy.
