Michael Brewer, now 18, was arrested in West Palm Beach this morning on charges of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug equipment, according to the Miami Herald.

Brewer was set on fire by a group of other teenagers in 2009. The kids were walking down a street when they found a substance similar to rubbing alcohol and tossed it on him. One of the teens, Jesus Mendez, flicked a lighter and set him aflame. Brewer survived by jumping into a nearby pool and undergoing multiple surgeries.

After the attack, Brewer's father said the teens had been arguing over payment for a Little Mermaid video game. (The Palm Beach Post is still reporting that the argument was over a video.) But that's not what the beef was about.

It wasn't until trial that Brewer revealed that the initial dispute had been over a marijuana pipe

Brewer's family relocated from Deerfield Beach to West Palm Beach after the attack.

Three boys involved in the attack -- Jesus Mendez, Denver Jarvis, and Matthew Bent -- are all serving prison sentences ranging from eight to 11 years.
