Earlier this week, we told you about former Chicago Bull, former children's book author, and current sometimes hanger around in bars of South Florida, Dennis Rodman, leading a magical mystery tour to North Korea with a camera crew and a couple of Harlem Globetrotters.

No, this was not a trippy dream we had. This actually happened.

On Thursday, "The Worm" caught an exhibition basketball game in Pyongyang with the North Korean leader, and now the two are totally boys.

According to a delegation spokesman, the two watched players from North Korea and the U.S. play in mixed teams. And according to the same spokesman, Rodman apparently told Jong Un, "You have a friend for life."

This now makes Dennis Rodman the most high-profile American to meet with Kim Jon Un, because of course it does.

Rodman and the Globetrotters are in North Korea with a Vice documentary crew to shoot a special for HBO.

Incidentally, the game they attended ended in a 110-110 tie, which means no North Korean players will be shot (We kid! We kid! Maybe).

Actually, two Americans played on each team alongside North Korean players, so it was all good.

As for Kim, Rodman's newest BFF, he is reportedly a very huge basketball fan.

So it's very much possible that Dennis Rodman may have just saved the world from an all-out nuclear war.
