Lisa "Noodles" Hayden, a longtime piano teacher and fixture in the Fort Lauderdale music scene, has gone missing since Saturday night.
At least one friend said she last saw Hayden on Saturday night, following the Keller Williams show at Revolution that night.
According to friends and family, Hayden was last seen on Saturday at about 1:30 a.m. in the area of Revolution, in the 100 block of SW Third Avenue in Fort Lauderdale. She had been wearing a short-sleeved orange shirt, blue jeans, and sneakers with glitter, police say.
Teajay Smith, a photographer and friend of Hayden's, says she last saw her at the Poorhouse in Fort Lauderdale following the Keller Williams show at Revolution on Saturday evening. Hayden, Smith tells New Times, had been at the show with some friends but that they had lost each other before Hayden slipped into the Poorhouse.
Smith says Hayden seemed to be in good spirits when the two spoke briefly.
According to Smith, who has known Hayden since 1994, Hayden had not touched a drink in about 20 years of sobriety, but it appeared as if she may have had a few drinks at the show.
Smith says Hayden did not have any drinks while at the Poorhouse.
"It seems like this night wasn't a good instance for her to be alone at a bar," Smith tells New Times. "I decided to keep an eye on her for the rest of the night but lost track of her."
According to a Fort Lauderdale Police, Hayden "takes an unknown type of antidepressant medicine." Hayden's family says she suffers from bipolar disorder.
Smith says that she had also spoken to Hayden recently and that she was in "a great state of mind" and did not appear to be depressed in any way.
Hayden had recently landed a part-time job, Smith says. She had been saving up for a summer trip.
"She's very personable with lots of friends in the music circle," Smith says. "She's also a piano teacher but had not done that in a while."
Fort Lauderdale Police say they have conducted a canvass of the downtown area but have not had any luck.
Hayden, 52, is five-foot-six, weighs 100 pounds, and has a thin build. She drives a light-blue 2003 Hyundai Elantra, with multiple stickers on the exterior of the vehicle with a Florida License Plate 303IEQ.

Investigators are asking anyone with information as to the whereabouts of Lisa "Noodles" Hayden to call the Fort Lauderdale Police Department at 954-764-4357.
