Boynton Beach TD Bank Robbed With Piece of Paper

The TD Bank branch at 1601 W. Boynton Beach Blvd. was robbed around 1:30 yesterday afternoon by a guy dressed like an awkward golfer.

Police did not say how much he got away with but did say he stuffed the money in "a light blue backpack and left the bank running toward Winchester Park Boulevard." He got it by giving the teller a note asking for it and was apparently not bothered by the bank having tons of security cameras that documented his brilliant "put on sunglasses" disguise.

The suspect is about six-foot-one and was wearing a blue-and-white polo shirt and blue cargo shorts. If you recognize him, police ask you to call Det. Brian Anderson at 561-742-6115 or Crime Stoppers at 800-458-8477.

Last month, a different Boynton Beach TD Bank on Military Trail was robbed by a limping man wearing a suit and baseball hat; he was arrested four days later after allegedly robbing another TD Bank in Palm Bay.
