Sarah Prohaska of the Palm Beach Post writes about a crime that could add ammunition to both the anti-gun and anti-video game crowds.
Before 16-year-old Jacob Brighton gunned down both of his parents in their Fort Pierce home, he spent part of the day playing True Crime New York City, a Grand Theft Auto-type shoot-em-up video game. Then the boy started thinking that he'd like for his mom and dad to be dead. Then he thought of the loaded gun his dad keeps under pillow. Here's what he told deputies:
"Then I started thinking like, oh, I, the gun's right here. I could do it. I really didn't want to."
I seriously doubt the NRA will put that quote in any of their pamphlets.
