On Friday, we noticed that one of our blog posts, about a freaky Florida campaign video set on a slave ship, had been stolen pretty much in its entirety and pasted up on the Fox News website, byline and all. Yesterday, New Times Editor Eric Barton offered to forgo legal action if Fox gave us half an hour on the phone with Bill O'Reilly. We didn't hear back, but later that day, the portion of the Fox post featuring our work was removed; only the video remains, and the comments section has been closed.

There's a picture of their original post after the jump, preserved just in case somebody decided to just erase evidence.
