  • Opening arguments today in the trial of the week: Toby and Kerstin Fenn, accused of first-degree murder in the death of Elly Lorey -- Kerstin's 89-year-old mother, who had Alzheimer's and whose emaciated corpse was found in the couple's Boca Raton home four years ago.   • Broward's first U.S. senator, George LeMieux, isn't answering questions by Jim DeFede about his law firm's role in getting visas for foreign workers who were hired to work on the St. Regis in Bal Harbor. [CBS4]
  • New evidence indicates that another man's DNA is linked to the 1983 murder in Miramar of Ada Cox Jankowski, for which Anthony Caravella was convicted. But though a Broward judge signed the release order yesterday, there wasn't a child welfare services worker available to give him an evaluation, meaning he has had to wait till today for his freedom.
