Congratulations, you made it through yet another working week. You might as well give yourself a pat on the back to celebrate -- or better yet, a drink or three.

Whether you're looking to celebrate Public House's one year anniversary with a street party, or want to get your dog's picture taken with Santa while drinking some beer, there's something for you to do in South Florida this weekend.

5. Breakfast With Santa at Brio Tuscan Grille

This year, Santa is making a special trip to all of Brio Tuscan Grille's South Florida locations to listen to Christmas wishes and spread holiday cheer. Guests can enjoy a plated breakfast and holiday activities including face painting, holiday crafts, cookie decorating, ornament making, and Christmas carolers. Santa Claus will be visiting tables collecting wish lists, and will also take photos with guests. The breakfast menu will be plentiful with items for both adults and children. Choices on the adult menu include: eggs, home fries, bacon, brunch potatoes, and brioche toast; berries and cream French toast; Sicilian omelets; ham and biscuit eggs Benedict. All meals include choice of coffee, tea, soft drink, milk or juice, muffins and yogurt parfait. Reservations are required for all Breakfast with Santa events taking place Saturday, December 13, from 9-10:30 a.m. at Brio at The Shops at Pembroke Gardens; 9-11 a.m. at The Shops at Boca Center; 9-11 a.m. at The Village at Gulfstream Park; 9-11 a.m. at The Gardens Mall; and 9-11 a.m. at CityPlace. Cost is $11.95 per adult; $5.95 per child. Call each restaurant to make reservations.

4. Paws & Claus at Funky Buddha Brewery

On Sunday, December 14, from 2-7 p.m., South Florida's Recycla-Bull Terrier Rescue is hosting "Paws & Claus" at Funky Buddha Brewery in Oakland Park. Santa Claus and a photographer will be there for pet portraits from 2-4 p.m.; for a $10 donation you can get a picture snapped of Santa with your dog (it will be emailed to you after the event). For $5 you will get a wristband that is good for "Yappy Hour" -- $1 off all Funky Buddha drafts from 2-7 p.m. The food truck, Flour Power, will be serving up delicious food until 5:30 p.m., and then Legend's BBQ will take over for the remainder of the evening. All breeds of dogs are welcome, and will receive free treats: Buddha Beer Biscuits (dog treats made from Funky Buddha beer mash) for sale. There will also be a raffle and silent auction items including gift baskets from Stella and Chewy's and Halo Pets. All of the proceeds will go to Recycla-Bull Terrier Rescue's Emergency Medical Fund, which helped to save 102 bull terriers in 2013.

3. 8th Annual Grand Tasting at the Palm Beach Food & Wine Festival

Hundreds of guests will be heading to the Mediterranean-inspired shopping courtyard of 150 Worth Plaza in Palm Beach to enjoy samplings of more than 40 of South Florida's hottest restaurants, as well as generous servings of bold and exotic wines from around the world. Choose from dozens of amuse-bouches, vineyard selections, and trendy cocktails. Then, cheer on three local chefs as they conclude the festival with the event's annual "Grand Chef Throwdown" finale and compete for the top $10,000 prize. The finale is presented by Creekstone Farms, and will be hosted by WPTV's Jay Cashmere featuring celebrity guest judge Chef Marc Murphy. To purchase tickets, visit pbfoodwinefest.com.

2. Winterfest Dinner Cruise

The Broward Center for the Performing Arts will be presenting the Winterfest Dinner Cruise on Saturday, December 13, a show-stopping new way to enjoy the 43rd Annual Seminole Hard Rock Winterfest Boat Parade. Tickets for the Winterfest Dinner Cruise on the Broward Center Broadway Boat are $127, and include a four-course dinner, open bar, DJ entertainment, and door prizes. Guests board at 6:30 p.m. at the New River dock in front of the Broward Center for the Performing Arts at 201 SW Fifth Avenue, Fort Lauderdale. Regarded as the "Greatest Show on H2O," Winterfest 2014 will host Grand Marshal FLO RIDA and have the theme "TV's Greatest Hits." More than one million cheering spectators along the 12 mile Fort Lauderdale route have transformed the Seminole Hard Rock Winterfest Boat Parade into not only the largest, one-day, live audience of any event in Florida, but also the seventh largest one-day spectator event in the country. 1. Public House One Year Anniversary Party

This Sunday, December 14, join Himmarshee Public House for a giant all-day Sunday brunch street party celebrating the sports lounge and restaurant's one year anniversary featuring its special Chef driven brunch menu, over 100 beers and drinks, all this week's NFL games on 30 big screen TVs, sounds provided by DJ Mark Gallo, and indoor and outdoor seating. A portion of proceeds from the day's festivities will be donated to the Peanut Butter & Jelly Project, a Fort Lauderdale-based non-profit that provides food, clothing, toiletries, and other basic necessities to the city's homeless. The restaurant will be taking over the Himmarshee Village side street (Moffat Ave.) with its 500-inch outdoor Jumbotron TV screen complete with beer tents, tailgating, and outdoor seating, so fans can cheer on the Dolphins as they battle the New England Patriots in their quest to make the playoffs.
