Around and around we go; today is the start to yet another lovely workweek. Hopefully, you have a bit of a spring in your step from some indulgent weekend activities. If not, don't fret, there's still plenty of events to keep you busy through your working days.

Whether you're looking to drink some wine, drink some beer, or learn to do something productive, like cook (while drinking beer and wine) -- obviously -- there's something to do in Broward and Palm Beach Counties this week.

Monday

Traditional Thanksgiving Dinner

Hosting Thanksgiving dinner is quite the production. While we all hope our inner Martha Stewart will come to the forefront, learning to put on an amazing meal takes a bit of practice. To help you in your holiday hosting endeavors, Chef Jean-Pierre Cooking School is offering a Traditional Thanksgiving Dinner class on Monday at 7 p.m. The cost to attend is $70. Registration is required.

Chef Jean-Pierre's Cooking School is located at 1436 Federal Highway in Fort Lauderdale. Call 954-563-2700, or visit chefjeanpierre.com.

Tuesday

Steele Wine Dinner

When eating an amazing meal out, a lot of people will often send their compliments to the chef to show their appreciation. Unfortunately, trying to thank a winemaker for his or her efforts is a bit more difficult -- unless, he or she is actually at the restaurant. Here's your chance. On Tuesday at 7 p.m. Cafe Maxx is hosting a Steele wine dinner with special guest Jed Steele. The cost to attend is $115 per person, plus tax and gratuity. Reservations required.

Cafe Maxx is located at 2601 E. Atlantic Blvd. in Pompano Beach. Call 954-782-0606, or visit cafemaxx.com.

Alinas Z's Raw UnCooking

Bacon makes just about everything in life better, except your cholesterol - ah cruel irony. Aside from the whole fat thing, cooking something into oblivion kills all the nutrients. To teach patrons about the benefits of raw foods -- and we don't mean raw bacon -- Whole Foods Market is hosting a raw cooking class with health coach Alina on Tuesday at 7 p.m. The cost to attend is $10. Registration is suggested.

Whole Foods Market is located at 1400 Glades Road in Boca Raton. Call 561-447-0000, or visit wholefoodsmarket.com.

Asian Grilling Techniques

In the rest of the country everyone is covering up the grills and moving indoors for the winter. Here, on the other hand, we're just heading into ideal grilling weather. To expand your fire cooking repertoire, Publix Aprons Cooking School is hosting an Asian Grilling Technique course on Tuesday night at 6 p.m. The hands-on class will be going over a number of Asian-inspired recipes. Registration is required.

Publix Aprons Cooking School is located at 1181 S. University Drive in Plantation. Call 954-577-7632, or visit publix.com/aprons.

Wednesday

PlumpJack and Cade Wineries Wine Dinner

Some things go together; wine and food are one. To bring the two together, Hollywood Prime is hosting a wine dinner with PlumpJack and Cade wineries. Starting at 7 p.m., guests will be treated cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, and a variety of chef-inspired meals. The cost to attend is $155 per person.

3 Sons Brewing Co. Free Beer Sampling

Cheese and Beer Class

You like cheese; you like beer. Why not pair the two together? On Wednesday at 7 p.m., the Cheese Course in Plantation is hosting a beer and cheese pairing course guided by a cheesemonger. For $20 per person, guests will be guided through the ins and outs of creating hoppy and creamy flavor combinations. Registration is required.

Thursday

The "Top Turkey" Thanksgiving Dinner Challenge Food Truck Rally

On Thursday, NYY Steak at the Seminole Casino is hosting a four-course wine dinner with vintner Scott Novik from Justin wines. The reception begins at 6 p.m., dinner starts at 7 p.m. The cost to attend is $150, plus tax and gratuity. Reservations required.
