Where do you go when you're a legendary NFL quarterback in search of a good meal? If you said some sport bar you'd be dead wrong -- especially if you were Joe Montana.

The NFL great and three-time Super Bowl MVP stopped by Cafe Martorano with friends last evening for some down-home South Philly-style Italian cuisine.

Montana and friends dined on macaroni carbonara, Sunday gravy, pork chops, baked clams, and plenty of red wine before posing with the restauranteur/cook and paying him a compliment, saying, " "I've dined all over the world, but there's no place on Earth like Café Martorano."

Cafe Martorano is Fort Lauderdale's "it" place for sports legends, celebrities, and fans of a good meatball to converge. In the past, Michael Phelps, Tom Brady, Ne-Yo, and Mario Lopez have all enjoyed dinner at this Ft. Lauderdale staple.
