Across the world Americans are stereotyped as being lazy -- we'd like to think we're just busy, actually.

We have drive-throughs for just about everything: fast-food, car-washes, banks, pharmacies, convenience stores, dry-cleaners, and topless doughnut shops. (Seriously, that last one used to exist in Fort Lauderdale. We couldn't make this stuff up if we tried.)

Let's just say, if there's a something you want, someone will bring it straight to your car.

Recently, Brew Next Door at C&I Studios launched a drive-through coffee service right out front of the shop.

Available every morning from 7 to 11 a.m., Brew Next Door is serving coffee drivers looking to get their fix in a hurry.

Designed with the aesthetic of a lemonade stand, the "drive-through" offers Intelligentsia coffee for $2 a cup.

"When we launched in November, we knew we wanted to include a drive-through," says C&I owner Josh Miller. "Most people are in a rush; they want a cup of coffee and be on their way."

The shop is currently working on expediting the ordering process even further with an app that will allow guests to place orders before arriving.

According to Miller, once the app is up and running, they might add specialty coffees like cappuccinos to the service, but for now the goal is to get customers in and out quickly.

The spot recently extended its hours as well. It is now open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., daily.

Brew Next Door is located at 541 NW 1st Ave. in Fort Lauderdale. Call 954-357-3934, or visit facebook.com/cistudios.
