Most people drink for the sake of drinking. But for those looking to justify a night of uninhibited intoxication to their mother and tax accountant, well the Fort Lauderdale Bus Loop has got you covered this Saturday (August 24th ): they've agreed to be DD, and are forwarding all proceeds to charity.
A noble fundraiser disguised as your everyday bar crawl, the bus loop has arranged for 14 trollies to herd the inebriated masses (they're expecting 1,800 folks) to nine different food and drink venues around Fort Liquordale Lauderdale. With your drink card in hand, simply rock up to each locale with a sense of entitlement because included in your ticket is a drink at each spot. So, carb up and come thirsty.

Since starting in August of 2007, the Fort Lauderdale Bus Loop has raised about a million dollars for charity. With more attendees and a demand for routes in other areas, it has spread to West Palm, Delray Beach, and Boca Raton to accommodate, but it all started here in Fort Lauderdale.
Recurring four times a year, this particular Saturday loop is boasting four new spots on their route: S3, Red Dog Cantina, Taco Beach, and the recently-opened Tonic Lounge on McSorley's rooftop. There will also be some familiar constants like Blue Martini and Sand Bar.
Check-in begins at 5:30 p.m. at Galleria Mall located at 2414 E. Sunrise Blvd. in Fort Lauderdale. Tickets are $30 online or $35 at the door. Trollies stop at midnight. Call 954-574-6000 or visit busloop.org.
